Active learning incorporates instructional strategies such as warm up, interactive exercises, quick individual exercises, partner conversations, group discussions and a cool down that simulate the mix of low, medium, and high intensity exercises of a physical workout. I developed a classroom methodology around these elements that I would love to share with your math department.
